What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a site places on your device to remember information between page views and sessions. Related technologies — such as pixel tags, local storage, and device identifiers — perform similar functions and are covered by this policy. This policy sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains the broader handling of information on VIXChart.com.
Categories of cookies we use
1. Strictly necessary
These cookies are needed for the site to load correctly and for core features to work. They include cookies set by our embedded TradingView chart, ticker, news timeline, and economic-calendar widgets so that the widgets can function within the page. You can block all cookies in your browser — the site will still display text content, but chart widgets may not render.
2. Analytics
We use Google Analytics (property G-H55MFZDTMN) to measure how readers use the site in aggregate. Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish unique users (for example, _ga, _ga_<PROPERTY-ID>) and to store session information. We use the resulting data to identify popular content and errors. We do not use analytics data to identify individual readers. Google Analytics loads on every page without a prior consent step, so these cookies are set when a page loads unless you block them using the options below.
3. Advertising
VIXChart.com does not currently show ads. There is no Google AdSense or other ad script on the site, and the site does not use advertising cookies. This policy will be updated before any ad service is introduced.

No consent banner
VIXChart.com does not have a cookie consent banner and does not ask for consent before loading Google Analytics. To opt out, use your browser settings or the Google Analytics opt-out add-on described below.
Browser settings
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies globally or per site. Help pages for major browsers:
Browsers also commonly provide a Do Not Track signal or a Global Privacy Control signal. The site does not currently act on these signals.
Opt out of Google Analytics
Google publishes a browser add-on that disables Google Analytics measurement on any site you visit: Google Analytics opt-out.
Impact of blocking cookies
Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent the TradingView chart widgets from loading correctly. Blocking analytics cookies will not affect the educational content of the site but will affect what we can measure.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy as the cookies we use or the law change. Updates are posted here with a new "Last reviewed" date.
